RIP Kim
So sad... I just found out through Facebook that Kim, the housekeeper at my workplace passed away early this morning. I'm not sure exactly what happenened, the only thing I've heard is that it was an accident at her home.
She was the sweetest lady, in my experience - she was quiet but always had a smile ready, the type to ask how you were doing, what you were doing for vacation, that sort of thing. I'd chatted to her about her family a bit - she had two small children who she obviously cared for very much, from the way she spoke about them.
She will truly be missed - many people have already posted on Facebook, in complete shock. She wasn't 'just' the cleaning lady, the way some workplaces view cleaning staff. She was truly part of the family.
