Updating from a tiny little cafe called 'Nancy's Bakery' in Lund - about six hours from Vancouver, counting the little ferries we had to take on the way.
Her parents' house is GORGEOUS. When you turn off the lights at night, the sky is almost completely dark... Oh, you can see the outline of the trees against the sky, but there are no street lights, no noise of traffic, no buildings nearby. There's no cable or internet or cellphone service, haha, so we've been quite cut off. It's kind of nice, for a short break. They're right on the ocean, and the water is usually incredibly calm... It's beautiful. Though they have a driveway of DOOM which I will have to update about.
It's been a very nice little vacation - I go back to work on Thursday, and having the six days off has been really nice, even if we're only spending 2 1/2 up at the house.
