Dammit, I really need to pay up my account today. And no, I don't feel any guilt in saying that - they realised their mistake and reinstated the journals, and that is the important bit! Besides, I hate ads. I'd rather support LJ than random advertisers.
So, I've been watching Doctor Who with Katie over the last few weeks :D It's an interesting show, isn't it? I don't know any of the background of it, and I haven't seen any of the other series - I'm coming into this completely blind, which I suppose is kind of weird for someone in this fandom, or so it seems from what I've been able to grasp from reading my flist and stuff. It seems very fun, to me - I was a bit skeptical at first, I'll have to admit, but the style has grown on me, and they're obviously putting more thought into the plot as time goes on. So, I like it *g* Am watching the rest of S2 sometime soon, hopefully, and then getting into S3.
I also need to finish catching up on Supernatural, and finish watching all of Heroes. Sigh to the latter - I remember when I was one of the first people on LJ watching it, and then I got distracted! Am so looking forward to it, though.
Also? I have come to the conclusion that I should like, never, ever wear heels. -facepalms- In the last few months I have fallen about four or five times, all because I have tremendously weak ankles, and stepping on the wrong shape of stone can make me go over. Blah. :P And yet there is this tiny, tiny little girl who I work with, who wears heels that must be four or five inches, and she seems to be fine! Blah again. :P
In other, not so happy news - my grandmother told me this weekend that my other set of grandparents (my sisters' father's parents, basically) have kicked my little sister Toni out because she was out past midnight. Completely valid, you might say, right? Yeah - except she's twenty-three. -sighs- I can't believe that they did that to her. I know that my Grandmother Heidt wants to keep both Christy and Toni as though they were little children forever, but this is just really harsh, considering that up until now, they've been insistent about them staying at home. Toni gave up going to college or university because of them. >_< I'm hoping to convince her to try again, if she calls me soon - my gran said that she was going to, so I really, really hope that she makes the choice to do so.
Also, randomly, for those of you interested - the official release for the iPhone is June 29th, unless anything changes over the next little while.
