Rowling looks just...normal! There's no reason why she should be physically perfect anyway, she's a writer, not a model/actress/whatever. I'm not too keen on her as a person, but dissing her appearance? LOW.

Exactly - heaven forbid that she look like a normal person, evidently. I mean, I have no problem with people objecting to something she says, or something she does, but how she looks? Bah.

Personally, I would have been more disturbed if Rowling had undergone some Hollywood tanorexia makeover and ended up looking like Donatella Versace or something. Eek!

And of course I don't mind! Good thing there are people who do that actually, otherwise my flist would be like ten people-I'm terrible at working up the courage to friend people first, unless I've spoken with them in comments or something.

Hell, I'm at least ten years younger, and haven't had any children, but if my belly looked like that, I'd be very happy indeed.
