A note to the casual reader: If you're going to read any of this entry, I suggest reading the paragraph that starts "Today I woke up and cleaned the house..." It's really the only good part of the entry.
This weekend has been awesome so far. On Thursday I had the Student Council Convention. Got up at 5, then left the school at like 5:45. Then drove to Calais, where the actual thing was being held. There were like 230 or so people there, and I gave them all high-fives. Oh yeah. Matt, Taylor, Jake and I were supposed to lead the Bangor Workshop. Which, I guess meant we were supposed to prepare and such, but we just improvised and all was well.
Let's see, then there was yesterday. Didn't do much during the day. Woke up and had no desire to do homework, so I got caught up on some of the old episodes of TV shows that I like but haven't had time to watch lately. Such as One Tree Hill, Lost, Battlestar Galactica, etc. And I still haven't had time to watch this week's Grey's Anatomy. Anyway, though the day was blah, the evening was awesome. Michelle and I went up to UMO to see a play called "Wintertime" It was great, one of the funniest plays I've seen in a while. And it was assistant-directed by none other than Ms. Khorll, so she came over and talked to us for a little bit.
Today I woke up and cleaned the house, thus making myself some much needed moolah. I didn't really have anything else that needed to be done (well, besides homework), so I mostly chilled. I did get most of my photo project done, though, which is nice. Then, this evening, I headed off to the theaters to see Borat with Pat, Cam, Corey, Lindsey, Cody, and Dave. Pat, Corey and I just barely got tickets, but Cam, Dave, Lindsey and Cody couldn't get in because Lindsey and Cody got carded and aren't old enough. So then Lindsey tried to get her mom to come in and buy them tickets, but by the time she arrived, it was all sold out. We were going to try to sneak in anyway, but there was literally no room. So we all just traded in our tickets and went and saw The Return. It was the worst piece of crap ever, haha. We missed the beginning, so maybe it would've been better if we had seen that, but somehow I doubt it. Anyway, after that disappointing film I came home only to discover that Michelle was online. She wanted some Oreos, so I drove her to Target and bought her some. Then I dragged her to the theaters so that I could cleanse my mind of the crappy movie I had just seen. So we ended up seeing Stranger Than Fiction, which was awesome. And now I am happy.
Tomorrow is homework day. Let's see, I need to:
Do English Essay
Learn some Calculus
Read and take notes on a chapter of Physics
Do a Physics activity report
Finish my photo project
Read A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man
