Soliciting browser opinions

...Or it could be that Firefox itself is the problem. Lovely. Anyone want to share opinions/experiences on alternative browsers?

I have a bit of a soft spot for Safari, but I'm pretty sure that's entirely due to my years using a Mac at work. I'm pretty sure the PC version isn't as nice, and I know it doesn't play nice with the university's webmail system. I haven't tried Opera or Chrome. (Currently just using everyone's favorite, IE.)

The annoying thing about this is that I'm pretty sure Dell's attitude is going to be "not our problem," since it is third-party software screwing things up. Whereas Firefox people are apt to argue, not unreasonably, that it's a Dell problem, especially since I've never heard of Firefox screwing up anyone else's computer.

Why can't I have a computer that just works??

(Happy Easter, by the way. My personal Easter tradition is to listen to "Easter" by Stuart Davis and "Easter Parade" by Jump, Little Children on repeat. This only works because I really like both songs.)

So, browsers?

stress, technology, holidays, for the peanut gallery, music
