i watched dateline last night. it was probably the sickest thing i've seen in a long time. basically, there's this group called perverted justice and they have volunteers who pose as 12 or 13 year old girls or boys online that go into chatrooms and wait to be IMed by older, disgusting pedeophiles. they don't approach the men; sadly, once they go into chatrooms, they're usually bombarded with IMs from guys.
anyway, what dateline did was set up a house where these pedeophiles could go to "meet" their conquests, and then the dateline guy confronted them and asked them what the hell they were doing. it was crazy. some guys ran the fuck out, some of them sat down and lied ("i thought she was 24!") and some admitted that they were totally sick bastards. and the things these guys brought! alcohol, condoms, viagra... one guy even brought an apple pie and whipped cream!
the dateline guy had their chatlogs and would read sections of it to the predators to prove that the predator knew that the "kid" was 12 or 13 and... it was just some really sick shit in their chatlogs. after that, the guys would leave the house and were immediately arrested by the police because it's a felony (thank god) to attempt to meet up with a child with sexual intent (and these men definitely had sexual intent.)
in 3 days, they arrest 50 men. 50. how fucking disgusting is that? they were aged from 20-65, all kinds of men, rich, poor, retired, working in regular day jobs. there was even a high school teacher, a rabbi, a firefighter, and a guy who works for the department of homeland security!
i went to their website today and you can actually read the chatlog these digustings fucks had with the "children". i am so thoroughly grossed out right now. i don't think ten long showers will make me feel clean again after the shit i read. there was this one guy, voted #1 slimiest predator, who was trying to get this 13 year old girl to be his sex slave and talked about how he'd spank her and whip her and tie her up. she kept saying how lonely she was and how her father sexually abused her and he totally used it to his advantage. he even started calling her "girl" to demean her. it was just... the nastiest fucking thing ever.
i'm not naive. i know this kind of shit goes on. but to actually read the things these men say to people that they believe are 11-14... what is wrong with these men? i'm just speechless.
