A little food for thought...

The first love of your life never leaves you. The impact that person makes on your life is something that changes you forever. Some people are able to let this love go. But what if you aren't ready for that? What if the only person you love in this world is that one person from your past? As time passes your love for that person grows. You watch them become the person you want to spend the rest of you life with, even though you knew from 15 that you were in love. You realize that all the hopes and dreams that you have are centered around this person. You stop and think...my life is revolving around someone who has forgotten about me completely. Years of friendship and love lost, worth nothing to the person you thought it meant the most. Wasn't I there? Wasn't I there to watch it all? You tried your best, and promised to never fault again. Now, you are living in the past and as time goes by, that person finds love somewhere else and continues their life without you. But, why can't you see that? Why can't you see that this person doesn't really love you the way you love them. When people die they are shut out of your life completely. You can't fall more in love with someone if they are nowhere to be found. Your heart can only break a few times before it can't be repaired. If you hold this love in your heart, will it break? Should you stop talking to that person? Stop dreaming about them or planning your future? Take them out of your life? How can the only person who has made you whole make you feel so empty?
