whoohoo!
Nothing like a little ass kicking on the perpetual to-do list to make you feel like a rockstar! Yesterday I tackled that mountain of laundry and then managed to clean out and organize the cabinets in our master bathroom (it's ONLY something I have been meaning to do since we moved in 3 1/2 years ago). WhooHOO! We also organized the ever overflowing utensil drawer in the kitchen (which is something we have been meaning to sort out since Matt moved in, god knows how many years ago), and finished filling out the rest of the insurance paperwork for faxing tomorrow.
We also TEST DROVE a car today, which I think is a rather major accomplishment, considering the circumstances. I think I have found the one I want... Just needa call the bank tomorrow so that we can work out the financing before we walk into the dealership. I think it's better to walk in armed with your own financing & see if they're willing to offer you a better deal, than to have to sit there for ages while they pfaff around with the 'negotiation process'. Ugh. I hate that part... it's SO BORING.
OOH! AND we had no-meat meatballs with warm pita, tomatoes & tzaziki sauce. Mmmmmmmm, no-meat meatballs... Halleluja! AND we currently have some apples baking in the oven to have a bit later - wheeeee!
AAAAANNNNDDDD - we're getting much closer to figuring out a name for our little babytron. We have the short list of finalists complete, and will look at it again in a few days to see which ones really speak to us.
