Yesterday was such a crappy day... I just felt depressed and mopey all day long. I sat around and cried for about an hour, and I felt a bit better after that until Alex got all pissy at me for "coming into the bedroom to bug him." He's trying to quit smoking (again...) so I understand the short temper, but DAMN yesterday was just not the day for that.
Yesterday's accomplishments:
-knit most of a hat for myself (center square again, this time out of paton's soy wool solids in raisin and natural snow)
-watched 11 episodes of Women's Murder Club (the books are way better, but the show's pretty good still... too bad they cancelled it after only one season)
-ate too much junk food
I feel much better emotionally today, but physically I'm drained. :( I fear I'm coming down with my first of many colds of the season. Boo. If i wasn't at work, I'm pretty sure I'd be sleeping. I perked up after some coffee earlier this morning, but I'm already crashing from it. Argh >_<
On the crafty front, I finished Meleah's hat about a week ago. I gave it to her yesterday and she was OMGSOHAPPY with it. :D Seeing her reaction was an awesome reminder of why I make stuff... too bad dummyhead me forgot to take pictures of it before I gave it to her XD Oh well, maybe I'll bring my camera with me to game day and snap a few of it on her.
Emma's hat (v. 2.0) is thisclose to being finished. I wrote up a new pattern (which I will post somewhere as soon as I type it) specifically for it, and it worked up quite nicely. :) I'm doing the i-cord trim right now, then I just have to make the pompoms and the cords for the earflaps. :D I WILL remember to take pictures of it when I finish. Hehehe.
In other crafty news, Michaels was having a 2 for $3 sale on Patons SWS yarn on Saturday. It normally costs $6 a ball. Needless to say, I almost died when I saw the sale sign, and I ended up buying 10 balls. XD We'll see what lovely things I can create with it.
Ugh, time to get back to work I think. *convulse*
ugh,
craftypants,
laziness,
tv,
knitting
