coffee and musings
There's a basketball game today... We'll see how many people make it into the coffee shop. Usually it's not many. Sigh.
I'm taking a bit of a break from my knittery; my hands were getting really tired and sore whilst working on my sock last night. I did manage to make another DS case though :) I'll post pictures on ravelry later. Back on the subject of my sock though... I was absentmindedly working on it during the last basketball game I worked (Thursday night) and dropped a stitch because I wasn't paying enough attention. I tried to save it, but I ended up only making it worse *headdesk* so I had to frog it back about an inch. I've been pretty upset with it since then. I only worked on it about 15 minutes last night. Heh.
I'm thinking I may CO for a pair of chunky slipper socks, mostly to practice short row heels, and partly because I want a project that will go by quickly. If I use size 8's and worsted weight yarn, they should go by fast enough. :)
Every other person who walks by this place has a coffee cup already in their hand. It's kind of disheartening.
PostSecret Sunday will make its triumphant comeback upon my return home. Huzzah!
