Life is just one big fit and flurry after another, hurry up work on this, get it done, and do it again. Not there is anything wrong with that. School has been picking up at a rather slow pace this semester, which only has three projects in it, the Butcher, Baker, and Candlestick Maker is the first one. My client is a glass worker, which has been fun and led to a cinder block, a torch, tongs, and some broken glass. I heated up my glass shards until melted and then tossed them into water, to watch them explode or stay intact, it was fun. The idea was inspired by raku pottery.
The end result looks something like this
Out side of the fun at school with studio and GSA event planning, not a whole lot is going on. I miss Jayke alot, we are doing well, although I have concerns about where we are going to live this summer, Terri really wants him stay and work this summer. I want to get a job in a firm this summer but I doubt I can do so in Bay City, which means I need to live in Detroit, and Jayke staying at My Secret Garden he would need to be in Bay City, which is just going to be a pain. But time will tell what ends up happening.
I am going to be in Bay City this weekend, it was my brothers birthday, and its MLK weekend so no school on Monday.
P.S. at least you aren't like John Ruskin, who married the prettiest woman of the time, and then realized he had a fear of pubic hair, or menstrual blood, or some other woman thing.
