Ignite
So I have been back from Chicago for a day. The Iginte Conference at Loyola was just amazing flat out. I met tons of really great people from all sorts of different Jesuit Universities, from California, Washington, Nebraska, New York, and everywhere in between. Friends that will be around for a while, someone who is a friendly face. It was really great, I was nervous about going but I am so glad I did. It was one of the most worth while trips I have ever taken. It has greatly expanded my knowledge on many LGBT issues and I really hope to put alot of what was talked about at Ignite to use on UDM's campus. Recuiting members, building a budget, and creating a stable student group are my key goals and I think alot of what I learned at Ignite will really help the GSA meet those goals.
