Saturday recap
Saturday:
Sleep until my body wakes itself up - slept till noon
Either go to Hobgood Park to run and jump rope then to gym for strength training OR go to gym for strength training and time on the elliptical (depends on the weather) - rained last night and a bit this morning, but was clear enough this afternoon for me to run at the park. YAY! The humidity was up, but there was a nice breeze. I did use the jump rope, but then I broke it. :-(
Grocery shopping - done
Stop by vet for Rocky's food - they didn't have any in stock, but have placed an order
Laundry - one load folded
Clean upstairs - maybe later
Make pasta salad for Sunday - in process now
southernstyle and spitfiren9 kidnapped us for dinner. Sorta killed the idea of cleaning this evening. Might be able to get a little done this evening, but more than likely it will get done tomorrow morning.
BTW, hope you had a great party, alasais! Wish we could have been there.
***Edit*** Also cleaned out the litter boxes. The tray was FULL, and it clears up something from tomorrow so I might be able to work on the bedroom a bit.
Cat antics:
Rocky - This is less antic and more "mommy is a bit softie." I am currently sitting on a bar stool to be able to use my computer. Rocky fell asleep in my computer chair, and I don't have the heart to move him out of it (again, he's tried to get in it 3 times while I was up and down making the salad).
Boris - Just defined "stupid." We have a tom cat outside that looks a lot like him (solid black). The last time I saw him, he was on the back porch and Boris was smacking the sliding glass door. Tonight I hear him hitting the door and figure the cat must be out there again. Look over, and Boris is attacking his own reflection.
Oliver - Really likes to help me when I clean. I have to repeatedly taking him out of the litter box while I trying to clean it. I removed him tonight, and he jumps onto the edge of the tub behind me. I hear a noise, turn around, and he has jumped into Art's 5 gallon brew pot. "See mom, I'm out of your way in here."
