While I love my truck, everyone who has even met me knows this. I am contemplating selling it and buying a bigger one. My truck is lovely, but it is ten years old and honestly a little small for my current needs. My baby boy is ten months old and weighing in at more than some adults I know (110-115 depending on whos scale I choose to believe.) He is only going to get bigger. He was perfectly happy to ride in the jump seat of my truck before, but now he finds these quarters a tad cramped, and I find his nose in my ear a tad annoying to drive with. He is getting to enjoy riding in the Van, but I hate driving it. It was built for people with no legs. I have legs. Dad's care is ok on leg room, but damn it like sitting on the ground. I don't like the odd origami position I have to get into to get in and out of it either. I love having a truck! I can get in it with out having to climb or fall in, I have plenty of leg room, I have room enough, even in my current truck, for some friends, and no matter what I buy while I'm out I've got the trunk space for it! :-D Yes I am a truck person. Now this isn';t just blind speculation, I have found a truck that I like a great deal, and that is beautiful. Ford F350, crew cab, dually, diesel, with a fifth wheel towing hitch. Dear lord it is a thing of beauty. Its white, and as my dear Daddy has always said "Good guys always wear white hats." This thing of beauty is only 4 years old and reasonably priced. The state of the economy being what it is and Car dealers being what they are I refuse to use my darling truck as a trade in, I get less than half of retail for my truck that way. I can make more money off my truck by going to the local car auction and sending it through and letting it go to the highest bidder. I am doing a bit of research and seeing what they traditionally get, also I can decide not to sell it if they don't get my lowest asking price for it. Shrugs this may not be practical, I am just trying to get into a better vehicle before my current truck goes to hell in a hand basket. There is nothing really wrong with my vehicle, just trying to do some preventative measures to keep it that way. Any thoughts?
