Ramblings on Legion

I've only watched this once so far. I may need to watch it again to fully give my thoughts. I thought that The Legion itself was cast well. I'm a fan of Alexz Johnson. I wonder if Laura Vandervoort recommended her at all?

I felt so bad for Clark when he got hurt even though he didn't seem too bothered by it. And The Persuader was only around for 3 seconds? What was that? I just assumed that Clark and The Legion would be fighting Brainiac and The Persuader simultaneously. Whatever...

In an interview, Geoff Johns said that Tom added something to the Legion Code. I'd love to know what it was. Maybe it was what Clark said about not killing anyone, ever? Here's the quote from the article: "Tom came up with a fantastic addition to the Legion Code, he impresses the hell out of me. He keeps the energy up on the set, keeps things fun, and he's unbelievably smart. He approaches everything with incredible intelligence." Sigh...

I do think that Allison did a good job playing creepy Brainiac. What was on her wedding dress? Blood? Brainiac juice?

I did love how Clark handled things. He was firm and authoritative. Of course, there were going to be anvils dropping left and right. It didn't really bother me . I was hoping that Clark would have expounded on why he doesn't fly. Maybe the Legion could have sympathized?

I thought it was interesting that the Legion had never heard of Chloe. However, I didn't think it was because of the Chlois theory. I think that TPTB were totally f*cking with the Chloisers with the whole, "maybe she changed her name" line. The Legion has seen pictures/holographs, whatever of Clark and his history. If Chloe was Lois, wouldn't they have recognized her?

I was not a big fan of the "sainting" of Lana. It seems like she's up to something shady, yet somehow she's a hero? Are her shady dealings going to be "all for Clark?" Ugh.

Why would Clark have pictures of Lana all over the house if she dumped/left him?

Of course, this is just my opinion, but I don't understand how people can say that Kristin and Tom have no chemistry. Especially in their last scene, I kept thinking that they were going to leap at each other and tear each other's clothes off! But that's just me...

I really want Clark to be the one who decides he's better off without Lana, but that doesn't seem to be the way they're going.

I thought it was slightly anti-climatic how Chloe remembers Clark's secret now. Maybe she'll find out later what he did?

I wonder if Doomsday is going to be around in Bulletproof or if he's going to disappear for awhile.

By the way, why did Clark have John Jones' shield thingie? Plot device much?

Overall though, I liked the episode. :-)

One more thing: It wouldn't surprise me if Chloe is not in Bulletproof too much since Allison is directing the episode after it- Power. They kind of set that up anyway, showing her packing to go visit Jimmy.
