Part 1 of Allison Mack's TV Guide
interview is up. I guess some of it is spoilery. It's hard for me to keep track of what's general knowledge and what's not.
Here's a non-spoilery quote in reference to a question about the great chemistry between her and Tom:
TVGuide.com: Right, but having worked together "forever," is that chemistry something you have to revisit each season? Or is it what it is?
Mack: I don’t think we work at it at all, it's something that we've learned in each other and that we’ve built. It's not something that goes away. There's an affection for each other - I adore him, and I think there's a similar fondness for me back - and that comes from "growing up" together. That isn’t something we have to rekindle. It will always exist between us.
BuddyTV has an interview with Aaron Ashmore. Here's the intro for it:
Poor
Aaron Ashmore. He has the misfortune of starring on a show that already has ridiculously hot male actors on it, like
Tom Welling and Justin Hartley and, now, Sam Witwer. What is poor guy like Aaron supposed to do about it?
I don't think that's a very flattering intro. Poor Aaron. He's good-looking in his own right.
On the other hand, I don't think that this is the nicest thing to say about Tom either:
I've had the good fortune of being on set of
Smallville with Tom Welling, and while Tom is definitely a very good-looking guy, Aaron seems more approachable and down-to-earth, which is just my type.
I immediately get defensive of our Tommy- I think that comment makes him sound unfriendly or standoffish.
If BuddyTV ever has even the teeniest tiniest hope of interviewing Tom Welling, I wouldn't recommend insulting him.
For the people who dissed Erica and all the press she recently did- saying that she was making it seem like the season is ALL ABOUT LOIS. Well, you could say that Allison did the same thing in her interview. Of course, the actor/actress being interviewed is going to talk about his/her storyline and character!
ETA:
SpaceTV has their Toxic trailer up. Once again, it is much better than the CW one!
