I Don't Want To Rant But...
I will try to make this brief. I apologize in advance if this insults anyone. "It's my journal I can do what I want." :-) By the way, the "you" I am referring to is the general "you."
I guess it's my own fault for bothering to read certain things in certain places, but I'm getting really tired of reading stuff like: "I hate Smallville, I hate where this show is going, I don't like this actor/actress or his/her portrayal of his/her character, but it doesn't matter because I won't be watching anyway."
If you're not going to be watching, then why do you care?!?!? Why do you still read every spoiler, every message board, every article, etc...that has anything to do with the show? I just don't understand.
When Dawson's Creek was in its last season, my sister would always complain to me that she hated the show and after every episode she would declare, "I'm never watching this show again," yet she never missed an episode. :-) For some reason, that didn't bother me the way this SV stuff does. Maybe because my sister was only telling me and not announcing her opinion in all sorts of public forums? I don't know...
I'm getting frustrated that I feel like I have to tip-toe around where I go for my SV fixes because if I try to read what everyone has to say, all it does is infuriate me.
I know that I've posted on this topic before so maybe you (whoever that is) are just as tired of reading my crap as I am of reading the stuff I just talked about. At least this is MY lj though and if you want to read it, you have to make a conscious choice to do so- you probably won't just stumble up on it.
