Finale

I want to write something about the finale, yet I don't know what to say at the same time.

I've seen several people write things about it being a "typical" episode of Smallville- which includes plotholes, crappy writing (SCIENCE!), & things that infuriate. I would agree with that.

However, I would also say that overall I really liked it. There were definitely things that left me wondering, but the last few minutes made me really happy and left me with a smile on my face. I didn't cry at all or even get weepy. It ended and I was content.

A few quick comments:

-I thought it was funny that Lex made the comment about how Clark says his name. I always thought that the way Clark said "Lana" always sounded like he was surprised.

-I think my heart jumped (in a good way) when Clark took Lois' hand as they walked down the aisle.

-If they wanted to keep Jimmy as a surprise, they shouldn't have put Aaron Ashmore's name in the credits! It's great that it didn't leak before. I was thinking it would have been interesting if Shawn Ashmore (Aaron's twin brother) has played New!Jimmy. Then he would have looked just like Jimmy, but not. Does that make sense? I'm glad we got to see AA one more time though.

-At least we got to see Shelby in a flashback from Krypto! Where is he/she now though?

-One nitpick- Before any of the Apocalypse/Apokolips stuff started happening, Clark mentioned that Lois' family wouldn't be attending the wedding. Later she says that the whole end of the world thing must be why her dad was called away. Huh? And what does that have to do with Lucy attending?

I'm so happy that Smallville brought me all of these great online friends! I hope that we all keep in touch! *HUGS*

One more thing, last night after the finale, Connor Stanhope (little Lex) posted a picture of him & Tom Welling from the wrap party on Twitter:

I know that a lot of you have Twitter, but in case you missed it, I wanted to post it! :-)
