So my car needed fixing, right?

...and I got it fixed at "my mechanic," Saabtech.

It was indeed the problem I thought it was, with the idler pulley and the belts. They fixed it, and did an oil change and gave me new tires on my back wheels (which I desperately needed). The last time I had this problem, way back in 2003, fixing it cost $300. This time, fixing it and giving an oil change and getting 2 new tires was $400. I love Saabtech.

ALSO, I'm trying to post more on LJ, since I like to read it a lot but feel I'm taking without giving. There you go.
