The next chapter of my life
Graduated, started work and moved house!
I'm so thankful that each and every morning when I wake up, I have my Daddy God to start the brand new day with. And with each passing day, He also shows me more and more new things about Himself and myself (:
BSF every monday on John has reminded me about the importance of loving others as Jesus loved us - something I still find myself struggling with. It definitely takes a lot not to retaliate when others accuse you or criticise you, even more so to love someone who simply gets on your nerves. And oftentimes we forget to love the ones closest to us, and take them forgranted. But I'm going to be more conscious of this and rely on God's strength to do it!
As I embark on this new chapter of my life, I believe the past few years have really strengthened us as a family, and individually as well. I do still think about why that particular incident happened, but we know that God has his purpose and timing in all things. I'm extremely thankful for the people around us - my relatives and my friends, without whom things would certainly have been more difficult.
And well, maybe, I am indeed excited about starting work. I'm starting to see how starting earlier (in july instead of sep) may actually be better for me! Haha and I'm praying that my job engagements will further develop my potential without eating up my social and personal life! :D
