Eek! I might get to see Avenue Q in late August! Yes, we're going to get a group together for a weekend matinee. Let me know if you want in: I'll find out the group rate and other details soon.

Painting is actually pretty fun. It took me days to prep that damn window, but only a few hours to paint it. Well, it's not fully painted yet. But the hardest wall is 2/3 painted . . . the rest of my office will become Ice Blue in a lot less time, I expect.

Is there any point in going to bed at this time of night? I think not. Maybe in half an hour, I'll go cuddle up to the lover who has to wake up soon. I hate disturbing him unnecessarily, but he'll be grumpy if he wakes up alone. Even if I'm dead asleep, he still needs me to be there, a warm thing to cuddle and kiss first thing in the morning.

I'm excited and nervous in turns. I need to start making about $500 per month, and I can't think of a better way to do that than friode's suggestion of a part-time temp gig. Although I should check out that teaching thing. I'd have to supplement it with something else, surely . . . but it would be better. I don't want to stop work on Kitipe Invite and beetiger-stuff (I'm so behind in that . . . hopefully I'll be able to do some tomorrow) and my portfolio. I'm behind in that, too. No way my nephew project is going to be finished at the end of my AE class. But it's OK. I'll do it this summer, I have someone who wants to help me make deadlines for myself and stuff. Besides, I think I'd be more comfortable making smaller, less important things first. Like a few icons and a custom mood icon set.

For fuck's sake, how the hell do I get ahold of DirectNIC? I've tried emailing their support addy and made a ticket. Arrrrgh, this is extremely frustrating. I don't want to have a seperate host and domain host! Time to dig deeper into DirectNIC's pages: there must be a phone number somewhere. Well, there MIGHT be.

Does anybody have any recommendations for cheap, decent DSL? I'll look into the Cox thing, too, but DSL seems like a better choice currently. For what we're paying in landline and dial-up costs, it'd be cheaper to go DSL. I'd like something less evil than Verizon. My parents don't complain, but I hate big businesses, especially for internet-related things. I'll go check out Roadrunner and Speakeasy, but I honestly don't know about any others. Enlighten me.
