Made it through the halfway point easily, because I took sinus drugs and slept for five hours. Woke to the doorbell ringing, called mom and told her I was sick. A few hours later she returned from Boston with chowder and rolls from Legal Seafood, yum!

I will be easily excused from Sunday activities, and Tiger will be here for the day.

I dearly hope I can sleep between now and then! Otherwise I'll surely feel like ass and/or be asleep during our too-rare-recently us-time. I'd love to be feeling as energetic and healthy as I do right now, but it might be tempting to do a strenuous impact scene. I have to do my best to remember to take it easy. Watching movies and maybe a short walk, slow things.

Even if I go with my parents tomorrow, I'm feeling better about the last two days of this visit. But that may just be the drugs, making everything feel pretty damn fine. I missed a party I very much wanted to go to tonight, but I can't seem to care. That same hostess is having another in two months anyways, hopefully I won't be sick for that, and Tiger won't be working "the wedding from hell". Which he says is every wedding, with his catering company. They've got some communication issues, all the way from the very top.

Listening to my downstairs neighbor cough again and again. Everyone's sick in this house. Coyote's sick, too, but as usual he can cope better. It's the usual changing of the season cold, pretty common to get one at the beginning of fall, winter, and even spring. Ours may well be stress-induced, too, but as with last years' visit, the anticipation is (so far) worse than the actuality.

Gonna knock on a lot of wood.

coyote, kink, tiger, sick
