Let's see if I can stay awake long enough to do this- it's been swilling around my head.
These are in No Particular Order.
1. Direct (or co-direct) a sensual, surreal verson of A Midsummer Night's Dream, casting Yours Truly as Puck.
2. Make an animated short that gets shown on a large screen, preferably at an erotic/queer/furry film festival of some sort.
3. Sing the trio from Act II of Phantom, (just after the sweet graveyard song) with two people who also loved that musical with all their younger heart. Preferably, these people will have enough range so that we can each take a turn singing a part.
4. Have a wild, fun tryst with a clever womyn. And not spend the entire time second-guessing myself or feeling unsure of her interest in me or mine in her.
5. Gain the level of financial stability that some of you already have: knowledge of precisely where next month's rent is coming from, the ability to have most of my bills be automatically deducted from my checking account, a savings account that is slowly-but-surely growing.
6. Learn the basic steps to at least 5 other forms of dance, 9 other languages, 13 other alphabets.
7. Sing to an audience. On a stage. More than once.
8. Start a Rejection Letter Collection (in other words, try to get a piece of my writing published). Also, co-write something with someone I love well.
9. Sit down to tea with one of the fierce musicians I've respected for years. Have the dynamic be not fan-to-Adored One(s) but rather interesting person-to-interesting persons.
10. Gallop bareback on a horse with my hair streaming free behind me.
11. Walk the Long Trail; perhaps extend the walk from My House to Montreal.
12. See the Utter Enormity of the Sky Fringed with Green. (In other words, visit a Plain or Grassland.)
13. Be involved in a massive (20+ persons) orgy. Preferrably entirely comprised of people who know me.
14. Live with more than one lover; ideally, have a home that would make Shulamith Firestone proud.
15. Have a home large and splendid (or comfortable) enough to be given a name, such as "The Nexus", "The Fortress", or "The Keep". For those unfamiliar with actual homes of those names, I mean living in a home that my tribe considers a natural gathering-place, where friends are welcome at any hour. (And yet if it is winter and I am holed up in a particular sleeping-room or creating-room, it is understood that I am to be left alone.)
16. Own a miniature horse: even a small suburban lawn is enough space for a very small horse.
17. See a Kea in the wild.
18. Walk at Julius' side in Rome and Otto's side in Tokyo. (I suspect it would be neither's first time in the city they've been dreaming of.) Take them both to Paris, France or Wellington, New Zealand. Or someplace I've only dreamt of. (Hunh- can't think of anything at the present! My greatest travel-longing is to return to Sydney.)
Oh, there are more, but that'll do for now. :) They're worth re-stating from time to time.
