I just completed a new portfolio site. In. Four. Hours. Four hours from conception to completion. And I had to finish/prep about half of the files. Granted, a nine-item portfolio isn't much of a sampling of my work, but it's done. People who read my ad in the conference brochure will have some idea of what I can do. And it looks OK, loads

I like it. It's different. I need at least 20 more people to whine about it before I'll change it to far-left.

If the box sizes weren't tied to window size, then far-right nav would make no sense. I don't find it all that weird, even at small window sizes.
> Pictures are k3wl. Who's #1?
Thought you'd like a slightly sumi'd you. Though the sumi doesn't come across all that well when it's jpegged. I may alter that one slightly. #1 is Laura the Lesbian. Isn't she yummy? I'm glad I got to do unmentionable things to her.

I would really, really like to find a non-lazy programmer to make the original concept of this site with. I like this version, but it's going to get unweildy once I start needing to put up a buttload of stuff. It works well as a small sampling of my work.
> You should shrink the logo down and make a favicon.ico.
I know what you mean, but I don't know how to do that. Or where in the code you have to stick it. Don't explain here: explain sometime when we're at my studio and I'm in technical mode. (I have a technical mode! Really! It's just shorter-lived than yours!)
> IP address logging is annoying.
Someone made a nasty anonymous comment on my LJ not too long ago, and if that person posts again, I want a mild clue as to that person's identity. At the time of the post, I could only think of two people (neither could've been Jane) who would feel justified in saying mean things to me. If it's someone other than those two people, my curiousity demands that I find out so I can fix it.

Not that it especially makes sense here, but CSS allows you to attach things (like your box array) to the right side of the window just as easily as to the left.
To make a favicon, make a version of the logo that looks reasonable at 32x32 and at 16x16 pixels, then either convince Photoshop to save them into a single .ico file or save them as PNG and give them to me to mangle.
In general, if you want to prototype a site in DW and then hand it off to me to clean up, I'd enjoy the practice.
