My Gods.

That game was awesome. My players are awesome. My husband is an awesome cook.

I'm in afterglow, of course.

But really, I shouldn't be the least bit surprised. With such an amazing group, what can be possible other than a fabulous day and night?

The only thing I feel a bit bad about is that ezrarashkae and one other player had enough energy for Waterfire, and I just couldn't. I think the sun and heat did me in, I couldn't move much after about 10pm. But we played outside, on a muggy 100-degree day, and nobody really complained about the heat or whined at all. Cold water was happily consumed, grapes were happily eaten, we stayed in the shade, and we just dealt. It was lovely.

That said, I do hope it won't be above 80 when we next play . . . but since that won't be 'til October or early November, I think we'll be fine. I'd much rather do it in October, (since the game will be set on October 31st) but all the games that we have to bend around may make that impossible. Crossroads means we can't do the first weekend, Rob's game means we can't do the last (but I wouldn't anyway, that'll be the big weekend for Halloween parties and such). I've got a ball to attend on the 22nd, and I think Hidden Flame is on the 8th and the 22nd. Which would leave the 15th, but I'll have to confer with the Head ST. Hrm.

Anyway, must amuse myself while I'm waiting for brynndragon to stir. Perhaps in an hour, I'll go over to my parents' appartment and start to quietly clean. If I can get most of it done before folzgold wants to hang out, that would be a good thing. I slept all the way 'til seven am. Why am I still yawning?

Anyway, thanks again to all my players. You all rawk.
