I'm still stumped as to what to bring to Midsummers for Elutul to give-away at the potlatch.
I mean, what does a low-ranking Native American Werewolf give to others more and less powerful than herself?
Yes, it would be reasonable for her to bring some waischu thing, a handful of goodies from Thayer Street or a dollar store. But she actually kinda respects one or two of them, so what would be more fitting? I feel like making a bunch of medecine pouches would be too personal, especially since there'll be at least three strangers there. It's tempting to go on eNature (thanks, baronbrian!) and try to figure out what sorts of flora and fauna are common here but don't grow in Virginia. Would acorns be lame or cool? But this is as far South as Elutul has ever been. There's no way she'd know.
I guess feathers are a safe bet. Or shells, since I think we'll be playing pretty inland. I have to find my feathers anyway, I want to make a headband or a quiver and a few little arrows.
Maybe I'll go biking in the park, see if I can find something interesting. They aren't getting my deer bones!
