(no subject)
so i'm pretty excited about going home tomorrow.
we played with sea bass in aquaculture lab today and that was pretty cool
but by 'play with' i mean look at in amusement..they're so funny
they'll come up to you in the tank, stick their mouth out of the water, open it and shut it really fast (kinda like free willy) and splash water at you..it's so cool
we went to my prof's facility and looked at the cod, sea bass and some other kind of tropical fish he had (looked like remoras) and i just had fun staring at them..the cod and sea bass were big and kinda scary which intrigued me. I wondered what it would be like to see them in the ocean..in real life. kinda cool i think
So anyways that was my thrill of the day..other than that it was pretty chill after my last exam of my crazy past 2 weeks
I dont' know about labs tho..that's what the whole point of the seabass was for: research..i think i'd rather interact more
like teach kids about sealife..that would be cool. feel like i'm actually benefitting myself and others other than going blindly into something i don't know the outcome for..taking tons of data, running tests, trial and era, etc etc
fish are cool tho..esp when you look at them from above, and in the eye. They really all have a diff personality and they're funny cuz they'll come up and look at you
