This year, I watched the festivities from the quiet of my own home. The idea of a new year wasn't too exciting to me...after all, it's just another day.
But as I sat there, watching the countdown, watching the ball drop, and watching the 2007 light up, it hit me.
It's 2007. The year that I have been waiting for since I was a Freshman was finally here.
I'm graduating this year. I'm going away to college. I'm truly taking a step into adulthood.
Despite the changes that will swarm us in these next few months, we can't let our friendships suffer. High school wouldn't be the same without ya'll, so let's please try and stay in touch beyond it.
