"Still Alive"
What in the world happened? Where did October go? It's normally such a fun and hectic month! How did I not post for pretty much that whole month? How did I manage to accomplish nothing of value, and fall out of touch again? I don't even have a good reason for not having been around! Blah!
Well, no more! The past is the past, but today is a new day!
Tis now November 1st, and being as that is the case, it is also NaNoWriMo, and I am officially signed up. Haven't been official since '07 *gasp*. Gonna attempt something Regionia-ish, it looks like. Wish me luck? Ravenhearst is my muse of late so it is high time to put him to the test. I have cleared my workspace and I have begun.
Also, I am getting close to finished with my current read, The Baker's Boy. I'm not really sure I've liked it much, but it's at least good enough that I have to find out what happens.
Tried a cocktail called a Sunset Splash tonight with dinner. Loved it. Finished the whole thing no problem. I am getting better at picking mixed drinks that I like.
Also, I've finally been playing through Portal, after having meant to for, pretty much forever. I am really close to finishing, too, yay! There just wasn't enough spare time in one day to do it all at once.
Otherwise, I don't think much is news since I was last around. The job is getting more and more difficult, but, I suppose that's to be expected right now.
