Reddit poster looking for movie recommendations

I'm looking for a movie or tv show Where someone wakes up to a different life or different identity. I recently watched a weird New Zealand show called this is not my life and really enjoyed it. And I enjoyed the bourne series aswell. Can be any genre.

And I'm also looking for a movie or tv show where someone visits an eerie town and has to solve a mystery or murder or just strange happenings. Similar to Jericho or prisoner or a cure for wellness. Or where someone visits a new town even.

Life on Mars (UK version) is an excellent show where a London Detective gets in a car crash in 2006 (then present day) and wakes up in the 70s. There is a follow up series set in the 80s called Ashes to Ashes that I haven't watched yet.

Eerie, Indiana was a great show from the early 90s about a kid that moves to a really weird town.

Have you watched Twin Peaks? Because if you want weird towns, you should watch Twin Peaks. There's the original series, the follow up movie Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me and the current series (which is supposed to be just as good as the original).
