Huh, I was looking on your DW account after you responded to my comment on Ao3. Either you put it on after I looked, or I just simply overlooked it.

What I didn't say on there, and will paraphrase now is this: you gave some good indications there of what was going to happen. I'd say that they paid a very high cost before it did, though. Poor Chip, Spike & Carly.

Yeah, I'm a fish brain and forgot to put it up until this morning before I dashed off for work.

I hope I wasn't too obvious with what was going to happen? I wanted to foreshadow, but not give everything away. And there was definitely a HUGE cost. For all the humans, the safe world they thought they had came crashing down. Carly and Sparkplug have a long road ahead.

It was a couple of sections, including one exchange in particular that gave me a pretty good idea. No, I didn't find it too obvious, as you left more than enough there for me to wonder just how bad it got.
