Dear Creator Letter
here is my "dear creator" letter for the TF Gift Exchange.
Dear TF Gift Exchange Creator,
Thank you for taking time to create a piece for me! I don't know what it is yet, but I know I'll love it. ^_^
As for things I like, I dig character driven pieces, world building, society building, smut, erotica, plot with porn, hard kink, gen and pieces that deal with TF characters handling alien-to-them races. I also love pieces that explore the alien-to-us aspects of TFs. Alternate universes that keep the robots as robots are also very fun (and I have a special place in my heart for dystopian settings). I also like plausible crossovers, though I'd dig most any crossover with another fandom I enjoy if you sell it believably.
If you're inclined to kink/smut/erotica/plot with porn, some specific kinks I enjoy are BDSM (and you can go as hard here as you'd like), restraints/tying-only bondage, body modification (so deliciously easy with robots!), piercing, size kink, sounding, voyeurism, anonymous sex, sex in non-bedroom places (outside, in the washroom, Optimus' office, etc) and fisting. I'm sure there are others, too, and as long as it doesn't appear on my DNW list below, I want you to feel free to fit them in.
My absolute favorite canon is TFA. I loved the ideas, the world building and social structures and how Not Human the Cybertronian characters were, while still being very relatable to us. I even like the human villians (except for Professor Princess, but i think that was the point with her). I love the other canons on my list, but TFA is my favorite.
As for specific characters...
I Love Soundwave. Hardcore. Like I'm planning a tattoo kind of love. I adore every canon version of him I've encountered and would die from glee to receive any art/fic/grapics of him, from any canon on my "would like to receive" list. I love his cassettes with almost as much glee. I especially love crafty Soundwave, who is playing a long game to make sure he stays ahead in the war. I also really love his opposite, caring Soundwave who is most determined to keep the cassettecons safe and alive through the war. (These two need not be exclusive, either.) Also, I would love to see some Animated Soundwave struggling with being sapient, rather than just a toy or a drone, and trying to find a life for himself.
Beast Wars Ravage makes me swoon. There is not enough BW Ravage in the world, give me more! I would love anything you did with him (and possibly beg for more).
Sari Sumdac. She was a strong character, with tons of potential and it all got a bit lost when season 3 was cut short. I'd love some older Sari, who's 16 on the outside but still 8 or 9 on the inside and doesn't fit in either of the worlds she "belongs" to.
Strong, smart, spirited Mikaela Banes. I love the girl that we saw in Bay movie 1, and believe that girl would have done more for herself and been more than movie 2 Mikaela. Show me movie 1 Mikaela and what she did with herself after, or even how she got to where she was in movie 1.
TF Prime Cliffjumper, who is mouthy, reckless, sarcastic and CLEARLY more than what we see on the surface or Arcee wouldn't have cared for him as much as she did. Show me the mech who managed to get past all her hurt and emotional walls to become Arcee's partner.
G1 Bumblebee, both the happy, friendly Optimus fanboy and the darker Marvel G1 character. I also like fan on Spec. Ops Bee.
Any of the "female" Cybertronians, from any canon. They are largely ignored, but need more love. So, explore them! How did Chromia become Elita-1's right hand bot? Strika is a Decepticon general, explore her rise to power. Tell me how Beta was a pivotal figure during the Quintesson war!

I hate characters who are reduced to nothing but damsels in distress. Sure, some people ARE DiDs, but those people are not going to be war-hardened veteran soldiers. I especially hate this when the female (or female analog) characters are reduced to DiDs. I know how/why the trope exists, but that doesn't make me like it.
Huh. Thought I had more DNWs, but i guess not!
