oh shit
so i just got back from clubbing w/ the ladies, and i log onto facebook and i see something strange. one of my friends wrote on another one of my friend's walls saying something along the lines of "you can do this buddy, you can pull through this. we're all praying for you" and another one of my friend's statuses says "RIP chris." turns out that one of the guys that i got hired at starbucks my senior w/ and trained w/ from ahs died sometime b/w 930pm last night and like 1am this morning, judging by the wall posts on his facebook. he had crohns disease. and he's the third ahs graduate (and friend of mine) in as many years, to die, though the only one not to get shot. i didn't know him all that well, but we were definitely friends, and i almost convinced him to come here (he's a year younger). he was accepted and really almost attended cnu but decided to go to mary washington instead.
it's just a little surreal, i'm not really sure how to feel.
RIP Chris Morawetz, you were a good guy, and those are rare. the world is a lesser place b/c of it. we'll all miss you.
