Who Are You

I would have posted my Who recap last night, but seeing that I got home at 3 am and was dead tired I figured that could wait and sleep was a better idea.

My friend Debbie and I met the other winners and the DJ at the radio station. From there we headed to Des Moines.....in the limo!! We stopped along the way to grab some drinks and food. Around 7 pm we made it to the arena and found our seats.

The opening band Moe was alright, but it's always hard to wait through the opener you don't really know for the band you do want to see! At about 8:30 the Who came on and played....

I Can't Explain, The Seeker, Anyway Anyhow Anywhere, Fragments, Who Are You, Behind Blue Eyes, Real Good Looking Boy, Sound Round, Pick Up The Peace, Endless Wire, We Got A Hit, They Made My Dream Come True, Mirror Door, Baba O'Riley, Eminence Front, Man In A Purple Dress, Mike Post Theme, You Better You Bet, My Generation, Won't Get Fooled Again, Pinball Wizard, Amazing Journey, Sparks, See Me Feel Me, Tea And Theater

They threw in a few of their new songs, but not enough to make the night dull. In fact, I enjoyed a few of their new ones - especially Tea and Theater. Overall it was a great show. Zak's drumming was in top form. I love to watch him play though....he's nothing like his dad, more like Keith, but still unique in his own way.

I heard a few people utter how it was better than the Stones in Omaha. I don't know if I quite agree with that, but it was definitely one of the best shows I've seen in a long time.
