Vampire Diaries 3.13 Quickie and Meme Thingy-I guess?

Paternalism aside, it makes me laugh to see that Klaus ships Matt/Elena.

Also, from arabian"I'm running a test to see who's reading my posts. So, if you read this, leave me a one-word comment about your day that starts with the third letter of your LJ USERNAME. Only one word please. Then repost so I can leave a word for you. Don't just post a word and ( Read more... )

That episode was amazing in so many respects. I really teared up between the scene between Caroline and her father, as well as the one Klaus had with his mother (and my inner Klaroline shipper that's slowly becoming completely crazed can't help but draw parallels.....)
Anyway, I'm really psyched about this week. I hope they don't ruin it.

word: hospital (not me though, just visiting)

Everything's okay, right? *Hugs*-even if it is all right, 'cause Eena HATES the hospital and shall impart comfort to all those who must go.

Also, the Klaroline thing is eating my brain. I have a fic in process that just gets larger and larger, and it's taking so long that I have to go back and edit in all the brilliant developments going on the show.

*Sigh* Spread too thin, as usual.

It's fine. My grandmother has had an operation back in the fall and apparently the wound has gotten mildly infected. She seemed really well today anyways.

I haven't been this excited for TVD in a while, so I hope they won't just have this scene and never revisit the relationship/chemistry or whatever is going on again (sort of like the Steroline friendship vanished into thin air :/).

Can't wait to read it, as usual. Sadly most of the Klaroline fanfic I find isn't that good development-wise. It all usually happens way to fast, they are both doing stuff for "reasons he/she doesn't understand" and her calling him "Nik" after about two seconds sort of bothers me. If you've called someone Klaus for the better part of a year, why would you suddenly change it for no real reason? /end rant

I'm glad it's all okay.

TVD-wise, Klaroline fic is rarely well done, for many of the problems you mentioned. It's kind of like the new Delena, where everyone throws history and canon out the window to join up the two new hot blondes. There are some ones on FF.net though:

Thank you! :D
Oh dear, the second one made my inner Elijah/Caroline shipper come out again, despite my loving Klaroline. Elijah is just perfect.

You're welcome!

The second one is also one of my faves, as it is just so beautiful, but without being too obvious.

Ooh, I will definitely be reading your recs. On that note, my shipdom for Caroline is feeling very fickle lately. Last season, I wasn't dedicated to Tyler, and as much as I like Matt...in the end I was still rooting (emphatically) for Elijah/Caroline. Then, this season sets up Klaus/Caroline, and my Id is jumping up and down yelling 'Yes, Please!'

I've been catching up with your latest posts and I have to say I actually like Bonnie this season. I was miffed over her treatment of Caroline last season, so I'm glad that it's been rectified. Lately, Bonnie's morality has been a shining point of the show (and not nearly so annoying as I first found it). Everyone else seems to be wishy-washy, or a pushover, when it comes to doing what's right, and doing what they want (aka "following their heart"), but not Bonnie. Have to give the girl props for that.
