I don't get it. There are idiots out there who think that killing people in the name of their faith is a good thing. There are people out there who think that we shouldn't be fighting back. Do they not realize that if we weren't, that we would be opening ourselves up to a wave of terror of which we have no concept? People in third world countries live in fear for their lives every day because they don't fight back. They don't make a stand. They don't set a standard that they won't just roll over and take it up the ass. We are AMERICA. We are a country founded on the principal that we WON'T roll over. We are founded on the ideal that people should be FREE. We have people who VOLUNTEER to serve in a military that has the basic job of keeping us all FREE.
WAKE UP! Look at the rest of the world. Nobody has it as good as we do. Why? Because we have the balls and the intestinal fortitude to tell the rest of the world that WE WON'T TAKE IT! AND WE BACK IT UP!
To all of you who think we shouldn't be where we are - suck it up. Where do you think we'd be if we weren't.
I married military. I raised two boys who would give their lives to keep this country free. My father was stationed in Halesworth, England during WWII. My uncle was at the Battle of the Bulge. This country has stood up time and time again to prove that we love what we have and that we're willing not only to fight for what we have, but to stand behind other countries who want the same right.
If you don't appreciate what these people are willing to sacrifice for your freedom, then what the hell are you doing here?
