mcu!rhodey is the guy who used his clout to cover up Tony’s Iron Man armor coming into contact with two US planes and downing one of them by accident
mcu!rhodey is the guy who found tony laying on the ground in his workshop and helped him get to his iron man armor. (and in deleted scenes helped tony fight Stane on the highway) but in the actual film kept the military out of it so Tony could fight Stane
mcu!rhodey is the guy wouldn’t stop reading from his report so the court got the whole picture on tony and iron man and not a biased take on it
