My brother has a very mild sentence, and the Palestinian man has regained some consciousness. Things seem to have turned out well. He says he'd prefer to take my apartment at the kibbutz when he gets out, but he may change his mind.
I thought it best to travel back via airplane because of my baggage situation. In fact, I am taking off right now. Lucky for me I can contact people when electronic devices are off. I'm sorry if this is terribly last-minute, but these were the least expensive tickets I could find. I have a layover in Amsterdam, but I should be back in New York around 10:30 a.m., local time.
