It snowed in Jerusalem today, but the skies are clear here. What a weather oddity. You'd expect it to be the other way around.

Egypt is considered a part of the Middle East and it is in Africa. Israel is also considered a part of the Middle East, but it is in Asia.

The Middle East is a region. It covers multiple continents.
