Love is not a feeling and it can only be expressed in the things you are willing to do for whatever it is you love. There is no room for you in it, just the good that will be accomplished for whatever it is you love from these actions that you take. Even if you never get anything in return for them. The only feeling involved is when you feel it from others. Just look at Jesus' example. It doesnt get anymore sublime.
