(no subject)
I was thinkign today about how far humanity has advanced technologically. If you think about it, there is really no reason that we arent out in space exploring like in star trek other than there is just no demand for it. Who wants to go and explore space when the media has us so scared that were about to be plunged into another middle ages? The technology exists. Antimatter propulsions systems have already been tested and prtotypes developed. We could have intersellar space travel. But I suppose until america can get its head out of the mud and the media stop harping on overinflated stories of domestic problems it will never happen.
