Stupid brats..

Aug 01, 2005 09:09

My team had training the day before yesterday and nothing really exciting happened, except that I saw sawcraw [Sakura] on her way to the shop. She was annoying, as usual, and started screaming at me for getting in her way. Whatever.. she’s crazy! We got into a little bit of a fight, and she tried to punch me, but the elephant is so slow that I had enough time to sidestep the punch, which caused her to lose her balance, and gave myself enough time to turn the corner and continue walking home. Honestly, she’s so stupid… Nothing really happened after that, I just went home and practiced my techniques. I’m going to be the best kunoichi around one day.

Anyway: yesterday’s mission. I met up with my teammates in town, awaiting the Hokage’s mission order for us. He said something about a C-rank mission and I couldn’t help but cheer with delight. Finally! Something I’m my team is capable of! Our mission was to escort the Tsuchikage’s daughter and grandson back to their village. Easy! After getting all the details, we were introduced to a young mother, Okatsuyoi-san and her incredibly infantile son, Kozogaki-kun, or as I like to call him: Kusogaki. He certainly lived up to his name* today. They seemed nice at first, but once we started on our way to leaving the village, the damn brat was whining about how hungry he was. We decided to stop and have a quick meal before heading out on the journey because, it was about a 2½-hour walk and the kid needed his energy.

No sooner than five minutes after we picked up from our first meal was the idiot complaining about being hungry again! As the team leader, I decided to just ignore him and continue walking.. but he would not stop whining about how he was starving to death. [sigh] So we took yet another break. By the time we had reached 100 yards outside of the village, we had stopped to eat about 8 or 9 times. After packing up our meal materials once again, we restarted our trek back to their village. However, no sooner than a mere 50 yards away from the last starting point, the Stupid Brat started whining about how hungry he was! How can anyone eat so much?! Before the kid could open his mouth to whine a second time, Chouji shouted at him for slowing us down by wanting to eat too damn much. I’ve never seen Chouji get mad at anyone for suggesting to go eat. Ever. This kid was that bad. Seriously!

I looked over at Asuma-sensei, but he was chatting away with Okatsuyoi-san, who didn’t seem to take any notice at all of her son’s annoying behavior. How frustrating!

So we finally begin to make some progress with the mission, actually getting into the forest about 20 minutes away from the Konoha gates. I’m starting to relax, because things are finally starting to go well, when suddenly, the Brat starts whining about how his precious legs are so tired and that he demands sheekawmaroo [Shikamaru] or myself give him a piggyback ride! Chouji offered, but the kid whined about not wanting to ride the ‘fat-one,’ and not wanting to ride the ‘creepy old man’. He absolutely insisted that it be either Shikamaru or myself.

“Ino… you’re the team leader. You take him. It’s too troublesome for me.” Too troublesome for him? I’m the beautiful Ino! I’m too delicate for things such as this! So I fought with Shikamaru over who would carry the damn kid. He kept insisting that if I wanted to be a Shinobi, I wouldn’t care about my supposed delicacy and just carry the kid. I told him that as leader, I was ordering him to take the kid. Throughout our argument, the kid’s whining grew louder and louder, to an ear-bleeding level. I couldn’t take it anymore, so I gave in and decided to give the kid a piggyback ride.

He was treating me like a horse the entire time! He kept telling me to go faster, or to stop, or to skip while carrying him. It was so frustrating. I just wanted to finish the mission and be done with it. Shikamaru just grinned, folded his arms behind his head and kept smugly walking along. Lazy-bastard!

After an hour into walking, the kid became really quiet. It was a pleasant change from his usual whiny demands. I started to relax and carry the kid at a normal, human pace, but the kid had different plans. He put his feet on my hips and pushed off of my body [Which hurt! I have big, shoe-printed bruises on my hips now!], then took off into the forest. Ugh! We figured it would be for the best if we split up to go look for him, so Shikamaru, Chouji and myself went in three different directions through the forest, while Okatsuyoi-san and Asuma-sensei went into another direction. The stupid mother giggled, blushing a little bit as she apologized a few times for her son’s behavior. Too little, too late, lady! Haven’t you heard of raising a child that’s not spoiled! I don’t care if you are the Tsuchikage’s daughter!

So anyway. After about an hour and 15 minutes of searching for the kid, I gave up. For all I knew, some beast got him for their lunch. It really wouldn’t have made any difference to me, except for the fact that it was a mission. We couldn’t fail the mission. I walked back anyway, to find Shikamaru standing over Chouji, who was strangling the little brat so that he wouldn’t go anywhere. Alright, Chouji! A few minutes later, Asuma-sensei and Okatsuyoi-san came back. I wonder if they actually looked… I don’t want to think about it.

“Kozogaki… don’t run off like that again.” The mother lightly scolded, adding a quiet giggle to her words. Is that the only reprimand the kid gets?! I couldn’t believe it. It was all so stupid. We could have been on our way home if it weren’t for this stupid kid! We’ve wasted so much time already… I was about ready to scream at the him, but I maintained my composure. I grabbed him by the hand and continued walking towards the edge of the village. Of course, he was whining about how tired he was, how he wanted to take a break, how he wanted to eat, how he wanted me to carry him again. I told him “no,” and that if he wanted to be a big boy, he would walk like the rest of us. He started crying again, and mentioned something about more food, but we all just ignored him, putting up with his never-ending whine.

After what seemed like an eternity, we finally reached their village’s gate. Okatsuyoi-san thanked us, and apologized once more for her son’s behavior and we began to walk back to Konoha. This was the most annoying mission I’ve ever had to undertake! Putting up with that kid should have been at least a B-rank mission! Though it probably annoyed Shikamaru, Chouji and Asuma-sensei, I complained about that little bastard the entire way home. Once we got back to the village, Asuma-sensei took us to our usual restaurant. Of course, I didn’t get to eat much, because Chouji was apparently starving and decided to take the food off of the fire, because he had “Earned it from working so hard!” Please. I worked harder than he did.

After dinner, I walked back home. On the way, I couldn’t help but think about Team 7. This must be what saucekeh [Sasuke] has to deal with when working on missions with Sakura day after day. I feel sorry for him. Once I came home, I bathed and went to sleep. It was early, but I had a long day. Children like that make me wonder if I ever want to have one when I get older. I don’t want one if they’re going to be annoying like that! But I think Sasuke and I would raise a good son or daughter, don’t you think?

Today we had a day off, so I haven’t really done too much. I will probably practice a little bit more, and then maybe go shopping or something! It will be a good day. Maybe I’ll even see Sasuke and he’ll say “hi” to me, like he said he would!

Yes. I think today will be a good day, as long as I don’t have to see that Ugly loser. I hope she’s training hard, because when we fight, I’m going to knock her on her ass! ^-^

Anyway. I think I will go practice a little bit. Goodbye! ♥

By the way, I mentioned the brat “living up to his name.” Well, for those who don’t know, gaki [supposedly] translates to brat. I call him kuso-gaki, which translates to something to the effect of “Damn brat!” or something someone as beautiful as me shouldn’t be saying. ^-^
