let me whisper in your ear and tell you something you might like to hear
today was one of those days I don't have often, yet need to try to have more frequently. I woke up early and (I'll admit it, I was forced) went to the special olympics track meet to help out. I was there from 8:30ish to 11:30ish. I then went to Carrolton to work in flower beds with Joan, Mr. Bill's wife. Then, at 4:00, I came home.
The track meet was incredibly fun. I forgot how much I enjoy these things. Kristen got a boyfriend, he turned me down, bastard. He kept saying Freddy Kruger was going to get me and laughing. I got snuck up on and tickled by an adorable little boy with downs syndrome, so cute. The older men who were on the adult team kept complimenting me on my toes. One told me he had pink toenails, one said he liked flowers too, especially roses and raised his eyebrows, another said, "so cute" and punched me in the arm. I love working with them. Liz, I do believe that occupational therapy will be better, because I will be needed more, don't you think?
Tonight we went to Dave and Busters, the people I was supposed to babysit for cancelled, Thank God. I didn't want to babysit all night for barely any money anyways, my mom put me up to it. Our waiter had astounding brown eyes, I like them. The guy who helped us in the prize shop was extremely nice, we left him a wonderful comment card. Also, we sat across from the ddr game, so I sat and watch the kids play that all night, plus I watched people watch them. You know how much I enjoy watching people and just taking it all in, well maybe you don't, but I sure do. <3
