Summary: It is not an easy job waiting in the cold.
A/N: As you can see this is another gift fic. For? Two very cute girls now in Korea, going to see SHINee! :D Okay that line was grammatically incorrect :X But hope the girls like this, even though I don't exactly wish that it will happen like this fic, only getting to see them at the very last of their Korea Trip! Okay that's too much of the story, let's read! :D
"Lesley..."
"Yeah?" the girl turned to face her cousin, who was resting her head on her palm, arm propped up by the railings in front of the building. She turned to look at her in the eye, with hope disappearing from them.
"Will we ever, ever see them?" she asked, trying to seek some reassurance from the older. "We only saw them on stage during the concert! We have been camping here in front of SM Entertainment almost every day when we are here in Korea but we have not even caught a glimpse of them. We are already going home tomorrow..."
Lesley put an arm on her younger cousin and squeezed her shoulder gently. "We will, I believe Kibum knows I'm here waiting for him!" she gave her cousin a death glare when she caught her rolling her eyes. "Jowell, believe me, Jjong will know you're here too!"
"Yeah right," she turned around and looked out onto the road with her back on the railing. "He only thinks of Shin Se Kyung now."
"Come on, are you this dejected?" the older snickered at the dull attitude of the usually cheerful girl. "Deep down we all know that it's a fake."
Jowell didn't reply anymore because a van drove up and stopped 4 meters away from them. She shot up immediately and started to murmur with her hands clutching her shirt tightly, "SHINee, Kim Jonghyun, SHINee, Kim Jonghyun..."
It wasn't SHINee, but it was definitely Kim Jonghyun with Lesley's Kibum. The duo stepped out of the van, chatting and laughing away happily.
"Eotteohke, eotteohke! That's Kibum!" Lesley whispered in a high-pitched voice. Jowell was rooted to the ground. "You don't even help; I'm going to take out my... Oh no where's Poppi!"
Lesley was fumbling all the way and the duo slowly but surely closed up. They will walk past them any minute and they had to act fast.
"Kim Jonghyun!" Jowell yelled out when the duo was very near them. The duo was very shocked and jumped. "Oppa!" Jowell added when she realised that she called his name directly without honorifics.
"...Y-ye," Jonghyun replied. She got even more shocked because she didn't even expect him to reply.
Now, it was Jowell's turn to be stumped. All this while when they have been waiting for SHINee, she didn't think of what to say to Jonghyun when she sees him. In panic, she stood still and said the first thing she thought of.
"I like Shin Se Kyung because you like her!"
Lesley and Kibum both looked at her with their jaws open. Jonghyun didn't understand what she was saying and tugged Kibum's sleeve to get him to translate for him.
"She... She said she likes Sekyung-ssi and then you like her..." Kibum translated what she said, but Lesley stopped him.
"Nope, she said she likes Shin Sekyung-ssi because you like her," Lesley said. Jonghyun smiled and thanked Lesley for translating and then Jowell for liking him.
Then Jowell and Jonghyun both went silent again.
She turned to Lesley, hopefully get some help, but she was busy giving Kibum her presents that she made for him, including the 3 months belated birthday card.
"Kibum-ssi, I made this and I want to give it to you personally so I came down to Korea to watch the concert as well," she said quickly in Korean, leaving Jowell confused. Jonghyun looked at Jowell weirdly and listened to Lesley instead, since it was in a language that he could understand.
"This is my cousin Jowell, she came here to see Jonghyun. She is a very big fan of yours, Jonghyun oppa," Lesley suddenly pulled Jowell in the middle of her speech and the two boys smiled at her. Jonghyun bowed and said thank you in Korean.
"You're a nice fan," Kibum commented in English and made Jowell blush a little. He flipped to the back of the card that Lesley wrote for him and said, "Lesley-ssi, thank you for these, you're a very nice fan too."
Lesley started giggling cutely at Kibum's words and watched as Kibum fumbled through his bag. He pulled out his Polaroid camera, "Sorry it's a little old. I'm launching a small project now so can I take pictures of both of you?"
Lesley and Jowell couldn't believe their ears. "Of course! Can we take pictures with you two then? I brought my own Polaroid," Lesley took out her Polaroid, which was the same model as Kibum's.
"Oh you have this too! I have questions about it so lets take photos first and then I can ask you!" Kibum was obviously excited and ushered Lesley and Jowell to get into position. The duo posed naturally for the camera and it turned out great, leaving Kibum smiling widely and electrifying Lesley.
"Your cousin and Jjong! Come on let's go!" Kibum then repeated the same thing to Jonghyun in Korean and he mumbled something like "You finally remembered that I'm here", causing Lesley to chuckle a bit.
Lesley then took a picture with Kibum, looking like total twins. "Kamsahamnida!" they smiled and said together.
"Wow, this must be chemistry!" Kibum laughed. "Where are you two from?"
"We're from Singapore, do you know that little country towards the south of Asia and it's really warm there?" the two started chatting and forgot about the other two standing just beside them.
Jonghyun smiled awkwardly as he didn't know how to talk to Jowell. "Thank you for liking me, I appreciate it a lot," he bowed politely with a slight shade of crimson evident on his face, but awkward because he knew Jowell couldn't really understand him. Jowell bowed back in response and just smiled awkwardly still.
"Do you girls feel hungry? Want to- Ouch!" Kibum did not finish his offer because Jonghyun slapped his arm. "What? They are our fans, also our friends!" he replied, irritated.
"Kibum, we have a meeting, this is no time to invite fans to the rehearsal room, especially when you just knew them!" Jonghyun reprimanded and smiled apologetically back at them.
"Oh yeah! Well, see you girls next time!" Kibum smiled and waved goodbye enthusiastically.
Lesley waved goodbye and shouted, "Kibum-ssi! I have my email in the card! Send me the pictures!" Jowell rolled her eyes at her cousin's actions.
"Do you really think he would email you back?" Jowell snorted. "Lets go, we have some last minute shopping to do."
The girls came back to Singapore with a full luggage and 45kg worth of other products to be shipped back. Lesley slumped in her seat and sighed dramatically when they reached home. "Feels good to be back," she exclaimed.
"Take a good rest, you need it anyway," Jowell squeezed her own shoulders to ease the tension in them. "I'll get going then, chat online."
Lesley gave an acknowledging nod before standing up from her bed to start up her computer. She haven't accessed her email for the entire period in Korea because it was too time consuming.
"You've got 15 new emails," she read out loud, skipping the few advertisement emails and some of the emails from Facebook. Her eyes stopped at one unfamiliar email that had no subject. Curious, she clicked on the email to open it.

And then Lesley let out a shriek that Jowell could hear from MRT station.
