Go to the Starbucks in Seminole Heights.
I have gotten 2 free drinks from there in the past WEEK. Monday, I ordered a Toffee Nut Frap, and their computers were down, so I recieved the drink on the house. Today, I was pissed about that they were out of the new "tangerine frappuccino" the night before, so I tried to go again today with Justin (we had just come from Publix). I always go through the drive-through because it's more convienent, and yesterday they had had a sign up saying "No! Tangerine Frap!" (Yes, interestingly, they had a "!" next to the "no"...) Again, today, that sign was still up but I still decided I would try my luck and ask if they have it. The man I whom I was talking to at the drive-thru was foreign, and I guess he only could understand orders. Surprisingly, he took my order for the drink, and then I asked if he would like me to take down the sign. He said he couldn't understand me, so I just pulled forward. When I got to the window, I assume the manager came up to me and said they were out of the Tangerine drink still (GOD!!!) and asked if I would like the Pomegranate Juice Frap? And I said "Well, Do a lot of people like it?" And so he offered to give it to me for free, and I said sure, why not. I was talking to Justin when he handed my drink to me and he said "TA-DA!" ..which surprised me. (...) Today at Publix I also bought Pomegranate raspberry juice from the produce aisle.. which was coincidence.
Just for a review on the Pomegranate Juice Frappucino, it tastes like Pomegranate initially, but the after-taste is .. nutty. It kind of tastes like rye. (...) Which, I know that pomegranate after taste does not taste so "rye-ish" but rather more bitter.
...I used to eat a lot of Pomegranates as a child. ..I really really really like fruit, plus it makes me feel like Persephone.
However, we didn't get Justin's drink on the house. I'm just lucky, ...or LUCKIER, it seems.
