According to Rangel he was censured because people were afraid to defend him, lest the lose some commit apointment due to how "super partizan" things are right now. I agree, things are super partizan, now which party is currently in control?
I also think it's interesting that he said that he thinks it's a religious duty to extend unemployment and ensure everyone who wants them can get food stamps. Apparently opposing those a sin.
