Imagine this poor couple.
The way Fairfax county deals with sewer blockages is basically to get a truck with a huge hose and blast water at 3500 pounds per square inch. One not so glamorous day there was a block so bad that not only did the block not unclog, but because of the pressure it forced the composition of the blockage up pipes and through the drain, bathtub and toilet of this million dollar house a young couple had bought only 6 months before. Entire basement covered in almost 2 inches of brown sludge. Talk about shitty luck.
And of course I got to spend my morning working with my dad pulling up carpet strips and nails so dad can put down new dry wall in this casa de merde. Place was clean of course, but the stench kind of lingered...definitely prefer working at BAM...even though I didn't look at the schedule right and gave myself a 3 day weekend when I didn't actually have it...ah well.

Yay for seeing friends! Went with insuoanno and ogimaqt to pick up Harry Potter on Friday night which was fun cuz I hadn't seen either of them in like a month. Then Monday went to JMU with Cat to see Dan, good times. JMU's a pretty place, it's kinda strange being there though cuz I keep thinking "I almost went here," well, there or UVA. Then today mellodaisy saved me from having to go back to work with my dad and caught up. And Anchorman is a weird weird movie. Just thought I'd mention that.
