Basic summation of the grandparent weekend.
- Pop's not going to jail. We were able to get Pop's car unimpounded and get the title of it in my mom's name all in one day thanks to an amazing new friend of the family.
- The people in Oberlin are so amazingly kind it almost convinced me to move to a small town when I graduate. Almost.
- I met a truly honest car mechanic. I wish he lived in Reston or Huntsville.
- You find a lot of random reasons to call people when everyone you stay with goes to sleep at 8 PM.
- I walked 13 miles yesterday carrying heavy boxes.
- Books on CD make long car drives much easier.
- Pop's car had the "check engine" light on most of the way, but it made it to Reston.
- I think I'll always remember I opened my last Christmas present from Nana and Pop in May.
- Emmett Smith winked at me at Gateway.
- I feel like I've aged 10 years in 4 days. Now I have a week to see if I can regress back to my previous state.
