oh good. i have like a thousand pounds of chocolate cake leftover.
also, i went to see true grit by myself today, because hey, why miss a good movie just cuz your friends ain't there? it was a great movie. i'm super glad i went anyhow. i also spent my 50$ gift card at the origins counter at macy's. this was an easy spend, and the payoff is worth its own weight in gold.
i am currently wrapping up "the sound of music", which i had never seen before. i really like it, and you shouldn't think for a second that it is a childish movie with no intellectual payoff. it has slight historical value and a great deal of entertainment. the kids wear these great hats that i believe should make some type of stylish comeback. check it out:
